When should I book my trial?
As soon as you can. However, if you plan on changing your hair drastically before your wedding, we would recommend you book your trial closer to your wedding date. You have to love your artist! Make sure you trust the talent that you are booking. Remember, this is YOUR big day, any changes, likes or dislikes, should definitely be voiced during your trial. Hairspray Revolution prides themselves in making sure you are 150% satisfied with your finished look.
Do you do Airbrush Makeup?
Yes! Some of the makeup artists on our team do airbrush. Please inquire about availabilty.
Whether it is an airbrush application or a non airbrush application, we can guarentee that your makeup looks flawless! All our products are professional grade and made for a high def world!
Do you have a studio?
No, we are all freelance artists and travel to your location. We found this to be extremely convenient and stress free for you and your bridal party.
Do you cut, highlight or do extensions?
No, we do not cut or process hair in anyway.
At this time we are not doing extensions. However we can do dreads, or dread extensions.
How far do you travel? Where are you located?
We travel nationally and internationally. However traveling charges may apply.
We are located in Northwest Indiana (right outside of the city). We travel throughout Chicago and Northwest Indiana (Lake County) free of charge. However Anything more than 25 miles outside of the downtown Chicago area will require a travel charge. Charges vary upon location. We do destination weddings as well.
What is required to book the date?
A signed contract and 50% deposit is required to book your bridal date.
Can I do a trial run without booking the whole wedding package.
Absolutley. The charge for trial runs are 50% of the total amount of the package you desire. If you decide to book us, we will deduct that amount from your total.
What about touch-ups?
With every bridal package we provide you with touch-up kits. These will include your gloss or lipstick for the day, blotter papers to keep you shine free, a mirror, bobby pins and a deep clense shampoo. The deep clense shampoo is great for washing all the setting sprays out of your hair when you take your hair down. We also have packages in which we accompany you throughout the day and touch up your makeup and hair for you.
Do you do "mom" hair?
Yes! Our styles are very versatile. Mother of the Bride, Grandma, anyone!
Can I bring my maid of honor, mother, sister to my trial?
Yes, we encourage you to bring as much support as you like.
I live out of state and will not have time for a trial, is that ok?
No problem! We have worked with many brides without trials. We will work with you before your wedding date to make sure that we are the same page for your perfect look. Pictures and describtions can be exchanged via email, telephone, pigeon carrier, what ever is easiest for you!

I have problem skin, is that a problem?
Our makeup artist will work directly with to ensure that you find a look that will work with your skin type.
My hair is really thin, can I still get the look I see in your photos?
One thing to remember is everyones hair is cut differently. You may see a style on someone else that you may want for yourself, but it will never look exactly the same unless your hair is exactly the same. We create our styles to work with your hair type. Our hairstylist is amazing at making hair look big and full, even if it may be fine.
I am photographer, can you work for prints?
We can work out a discounted package for you and your budget in exchange for prints. Contact us for more information.
